Qualifications

I am a registered psychotherapist.

I am a graduate member of the BPS (British Psychological Society), bound under the BPS Code of Ethics and Conduct and an accredited member of NCPS (National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society).

In my practice, I use a range of methods and techniques to help clients with different types of problems and I make sure all my clients receive treatment suited to their individual needs. In my work, I use methods and techniques taken from integrative therapy, cognitive-behaviour therapy, humanistic psychotherapy, and psychodynamic therapy. I believe every client has individual needs, and the psychotherapist should use different methods to meet these needs.

My MSc dissertation was a quantitative study of neuroticism and romantic relationship quality, whereby I gained considerable knowledge about personality and relationships and how they work. I researched how partners can perceive the same situation differently and how they can resolve such different perspectives.

Equally, I have relevant qualifications from my time in Poland, having studied psychology of emotions and motivations, cognitive social psychology, developmental psychology, psychology of individual differences, psychological help, psychology of personality etc.

To maintain a high standard of service, I carry out continual professional development (CPD) and I engage in regular on-going supervision by a highly experienced psychotherapist.
